Online Databases
The Melrose High School Library & Resource Center subscribes to a variety of online databases. These databases allow you to search across a variety of high-quality periodicals and academic journals, encyclopedias, and reference materials. Many of these databases also include media such as images, video, podcasts and radio programs, and primary sources. These databases allow you access to information and resources you cannot find freely on the Internet. While some databases offer general information and reference, such as Academic OneFile and the Gale Virtual Reference Library, most are content-specific, covering topics such as business, health and nursing, sports medicine, science, the arts, U.S. and world history, biography, literary criticism, pop culture, psychology, philosophy and religion, and much more.
