The mission of the Melrose High School Library and Resource Center is to prepare students to be effective users and creators of information and nurture students as life-long learners.
The school library provides information and ideas that are fundamental to functioning successfully in today's information and knowledge-based society. The school library equips students with life-long learning skills and develops the imagination, enabling them to live as responsible citizens. |
Digital resources
The Melrose High School Library & Resource Center subscribes to a variety of online databases. These databases allow you to search across a variety of high-quality periodicals and academic journals, encyclopedias, and reference materials. Many of these databases also include media such as images, video, podcasts and radio programs, and primary sources. Thanks to the generosity of the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, Melrose High School subscribes to a wide variety of Gale Databases. Melrose also subscribes to six high-quality history and social studies databases through ABC-CLIO.
